Getting there and away by:
Air: various airlines (e.g. SkyEurope, RyanAir) to Bratislava (capital, western Slovakia) or Košice (eastern Slovakia).
Buses to Slovakia: www.eurolines.com
Buses and trains in Slovakia: www.cp.sk (autobusy = buses, vlaky = trains )
Train: Slovak railways: main directions from Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Russia ...
Car and Motorcycle: highways in Slovakia are charged by using a toll sticker (valid for a week, month and year). You can by it at the border control or at the nearest filling station.
Boat: connections from Budapest and Vienna
Hitchhiking: on the slip roads or filling stations or online hitchhiking.

Getting around: well developed network of bus and train lines around Slovakia.
