To use payphones you need cards:
- 8-18, Mon-Fri: 43.5sec.
- 8-18 weekends: 58sec.
- 18-8: 87sec.
- international (there are 9 zones):
Regardless of 'pulse' time, in international calls you are charged for 3 minutes initially and then for every started minute.
- 14.5sec. (mainly EU)
- 12.5sec. (Eastern Europe)
- 10.3sec. (Russia)
- 8.7sec. (USA)
- 2.8sec. (far East)
Every card has expiry date printed; if it hasn't, expiry date is 2005-01-01.
- chip types:
- 15 pulses: 9zł,
- 30 pulses: 15zł,
- 60 pulses: 24zł.
- Magnetic stripe- there is only one, 15 pulses type as they are being withdrawn.
