As a european girl used to kissing and hugging people when I meet them ....... DON"T do that in Pakistan !! always keep distance of males....just shake a hand, and don't be suprised if they don't shake your hand at all. its not that they are not friendly, they are just not used to having this kind of greetings between man and women. be modest in expressions of exitement, women there don't even blink their eyes if they like something.so your expresions can be easily mis-inturperd by man. and like any other islamic country, keep your knees and schoulders covered, just take a nice sjawl with U in case you get to many guys looking your way, put it over your hair, and U are fine. or buy a nice Shalwar Kameez, what the locals wear, its comfortable to wear and very elegant.
