Currency
The currency used in Finland is Euro, so it is easy to come from middle Europe. More about Euro

Exchanging Money
There are exchance points, for example in the main railway stations.

Credit Cards
Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Eurocard, Diners Club and American Express are widely accepted

ATMs
There a ATMs thru out Finland. ALL of them are Otto. chain ATM's. For locations Click here

Tipping
Tips in restaurants are not necessary, but 5 to 15% is OK for good service. If Taxi service was good, you may Tip to the nearest 5 euros. In fine hotels 5 euro per customer.

Bargaining
There is NO bargaining in Finland, other than in Market Squares

Costs
Food is relativly expensive. Cheap groceries can be found at Lidl, Alepa and Siwa stores. Stockmann in Helsinki, Espoo and Tampere is the most expensive store in the country, but you can get the best variety from there
