Finfood - Finnish food information service

Finland doesn't have such a big streetfood culture, but sometimes you can find a hotdog stand or sausage grill on the streets. In the summertime finns enjoy various flavours of ice cream from ice cream stands, which are numerous especially in bigger cities. (NOT) only for Vegans: Finland is THE icecream country! In Supermarkets (K-Market and S-Market best assortment) not only TofuIce and soy ice but also Oat Icecream and "Yosa" oat yoghurt!

Finland has vast selection of different kinds of restaurants, varying from indian and chinese to viking restaurants, pizzerias and kebab-houses and mainstream hamburger places to traditional finnish kitchens. Lots of choose from.
Usually dining out is a bit on the expensive side, but then again, your host may know the most inexpensive ones.
