Getting there and away
You can travel here by air or train, and even by ferry. Lots of options, you might want to browse the net.
Easiest transport is defenitely by train. Distances are long in Finland, and even though sometimes you can get by with a bus and even with your bike, usually it is better to rely on our high quality railways. Go to

Finland, being a land full of lakes, has many opportunities for boating your way around here. This obviously works only in the summertime.
You can also take an inexpensive ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm or from Turku to Stockholm. Info can be found at Silja Line and Viking Line
At summertimes there is a regular ferry service to Tallinn from Helsinki. Some of the companies have ferries to Tallinn during winter also. Check these sites.
