Some "Jugendstil" in Vienna Buildings by Otto Wagner are to be found on many places in Vienna.
First you can go with the U6 and there is a lot of old stations done by him. Actually the whole construction of the old "Stadtbahn" was done by him, and it is all the way along the "Gürtel".

The best time to see Vienna in its most beautiful view is certainly between May and October.
The temperatures in spring are around 15 degrees and can reach in summer up to 35. It blossoms everywhere, cafes and restaurants have opened their guests gardens - called SCHANIGARTEN - and it is joy walking along the streets and discover the city.

Tourist Traps

The CAT (City-Airport-Train) is definitely a tourist trap. They advertise for the train all over the airport. But it is expensive! The best way to get to town from Vienna's airport is the normal train. It runs on the same track as the CAT, twice an hour and is only a few minutes slower (because it has stops).
