Attractions and Things to See and Do

The natural & cultural beauty and variety make Austria a small - in a geographical sense - jewel in the heart of Europe.
Austria offers the riches of Europe in the proverbial nutshell: spectacular vistas, Alpine splendor, pulsating nightlife, sophisticated shopping, classical culture and culinary adventure. And not to forget: Austria is the cradle of Alpine skiing - and skiing is a way of life in the country of any skier's dreams.

Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz and Graz - no other places capture the romance and history of Europe as do Austria's Imperial Cities.
They cannot and should not be compared: each of these six cities has unique characteristics, each of them is very Austrian and yet, they are very different from one another - and each contributes to the diversity that has become known as "Austria". For detailed Information on the cities please check the links here on HC.

Young & Fun

Austria has become a top-spot for the European youth. It is the manifold outdoor activities and the joyful events that make Austria attractive to younger travelers just as you. Every summer the country becomes a stage for a wide range of different concerts and performances. So whatever type of music you are into, you will find your personal highlight in Austria.
In winter join the crazy crowd of snowboard freaks that float the 'Air&Style' contest that takes place in vibrant party towns like Seefeld or Innsbruck. Or you might enjoy the rustic Alpine flair at one of the many huts and indulge in Austria's famous Apres-Ski scene. Check out Vienna for their famous new year celebration, boasting dozens of concerts and performances, it already draws thousands of international visitors that waltz - or rave or rap - into the new year.
