| Altre informazioni su di me: | Being 38 (yes I know old fart now) I find that I still think like a teenager and sometimes still act like one but don't have the same stamina. I still like a drink but have done the "lets get rolling drunk thing" (got the teeshirt to prove it!!)and prefer a couple at home with good company and conversation instead of spending all night (and countless amounts of money)shouting to be heard in the pub. (also I get REAL bad hangovers now - not nice)and I play (I use the word "play" very lightly) VERY BAD guitar. |

| Cose interessanti da vedere e fare dove vivo, i miei consigli (aggiungi questo a | Diving (excellent diving and fishing) walk around the mount ( big bloody hill about 700ft tall) can climb to the top if feeling energetic. Hunting (Deer, Pigs, Possums)Great beach for sun bathing and surf swimming, good surfing as well. There is a great cafe scene in Taurange and Mt Maunganui as well as some good shopping centers. We are close to Rotorua which is a thermal area ( yes it does smell like rotten eggs) and in Katikati which is about 20 mins away you can visit the area were they filmed part of the Lord of the Rings (The Shire), NZ also has some of the best biking roads that I have found, just watch out for the sheep!! |

I think that the above sentence sums up my outlook on life, it is a personal choice to get out and experience the good (and sometimes not so good) things that this great playground "Earth" has to offer, and I believe that the concept of meeting like minded, friendly people from different cultures can only enrich your life, and hopefully you meeting them has the same effect.
I think that the saddest people on the planet are those that hit "old age" ( yes I know it's creeping up on me LOL) and sit in there chair saying "I wish I had done that" if there is something that you want to do ( and it's not going to hurt anyone) then you should do it...remember that the only thing we can truly call our own are our memories, it is the people we meet and the things we do in this life that make us rich, not the money we earn or the house we live in... in the end you cant take them with you.
It would be great to meet up with any HC members out there, especially any that are into motorbikes (just call me a crusty old biker LOL) and bike travel or anyone who just fancies a coffee and chat sometime when we are in the same city.
I am currently traveling, I am in the UK but will be starting a RTW Motorcycle trip starting in the UK through Asia into Aus and back to NZ where I am spending a few months (Trying) to replenish the funds while the bike gets shipped to south America. from there back to UK via Africa.....Sounds easy on paper LOL. |
