| Hobiler, İlgi Alanları: | ========================================================================= I'm a music onmivore, sometimes even blamed for not having a particular taste of my own. I enjoy performing arts; I used to roam the alternative scene when I lived in the south, working at a stage where I went to see bands play several times a week. A job that also got me in at this country's leading cultural festivals. I've been a voluntary projectionist for years, I get my kicks off on arthouse films and ‘flatfloor’ plays when I can. Although nowadays I've more or less 'sown my wild oats' and can hardly afford going out anymore, I'd enjoy showing you some of my city's finest and most obscure cultural venues.

As every Dutchman I of course like cycling, which really is the best way to explore the country. I do occasional capoeira to keep in shape. I attempt to stick to vegetarian meals and am a non-smoker.

Despite of having Europe's most dense, frequent & reliable public network, the nicest transportation still is by bike. I can provide you with ridiculously cheap rental bikes (€2,85 per 20hrs).

Nevertheless, most tourists only prowl the inner centre, avoiding residential areas. Citizens keeping away from the centre will therefore hardly notice this being a véry touristy city (11mln p.yr). A real pity for visitors that stick to the main sites & sights, 'cause this town has a lot more in store than tourists' dwellings only. ========================================================================= |
