Some tips about your travel
Befomr coming to live here, I was used to visit Kriti as a tourist.
I would suggest you to plan your travel between March and June and September
and October, but try to avoid July and August. Those two months are terribly
expensive. Too many people here and the weather is too hot :). May is the right
time to visit the island. The weather is cold but we can bear it. There are,
for sure, many tourists, but not thousands like in the summer. Chania is reputated
to be an expensive city. If you have the choice, try to find a village in the
surrunding of Chania and take the bus to visit it.
About travels. If you need to come to Chania. Depends from where you are coming.
For my part, I try all the time to flight from Germany. There are frequent flights
from Germany with Aegan Airlines. There are two national companies here : Olympic
