Introduction
As surface, Dolj is the 7th region of the 41 regions of Romania. If you are passionate with the art and the history, you should visit Craiovas Museums, Craiova Philarmonic Orchestra and Marin Sorescu National Theater Craiova. Also it's a renewed fountain promenade in the center of Craiova and a lot of ancient architecture. Craiova Marketplace is one of the cheapest of Romania. In the summer you can find here many fruits. The main european road is fine and pass through Craiova and Filiaşi. You could come in Craiova also by plane (from Bucharest) or by train, but the buses are cheaper from any part of Romania or even from abroad. If you love fishing, take a trip to Calafat, to the Danube.
