Introduction
Manila is full of life, love, and laughter. Take what Filipinos are-- a historical mishmash of Malay, Indon, Spanish, Chinese, and American influences-- all of these reflect in the bustling capital. The business center is cosmopolitan with lots of good restaurants, while you can still see the charm of Old Manila and other areas. WIth ENDLESS things to do, and super friendly people (not to mention being a drive from mountains and beaches), you MUST stop by Manila before heading over to the islands.

Top Things to See and Do
Rizal Park, QC forest parks, Manila Bay, Chinatown, Little India, thrift stores, Divisoria and other dirt cheap goods trading areas, bohemian Malate, Quiapo for all the mystics, Makati, Metropolitan Museum, Ayala Museum, Intramuros and old churches, clubs, bar gigs, plays, etc. So many, you really need someone to take you around! If you're lucky you might even get to attend one of our famous political rallies! Hehe.

Neighbor regions/States: Batangas, beach, diving, macho-ass strong coffee, Tagaytay and Taal Lake a volcano within a volcano's crater that is now a lake, amazing view, lots of nearby mountains to climb like the mystical and beautiful Mt. Banahaw , artisan towns like Paete (woodcarving), Laguna, and so much more.
