Introduction
Perth is a relatively small city with about 1 500 000 inhabitants. The city centre is very small but our suburbs spread for many kilometres, as we tend to build outwards not upwards. The beaches here in Perth and in Western Australia are some of the cleanest, most beautiful beaches in the world, great for swimming and surfing almost all year round. For those fearing sharks, its not a real problem, just the media getting excited. People here are friendly and most will readily help if you have a problem, or can't find your way. The bush and desert is something many travellers come to explore as well as the fauna that inhabit them such as Koalas and Kangaroos which I hate to inform you, don't live in the city. Perth is a comparatively cheap city compared to other places in Australia and people can get by on a smaller budget. Lastly there are plenty of people in WA who'd love to host you so just give them an email and enjoy the great state! Hope to see you here.. Godwin --

Top Things to See and Do
Perth, Yanchep, Wave Rock, Pinnacles, Ningaloo Reef, Walpole forests, Margaret River, Yallingup beaches (or any beaches in Western Australia except Scarborough), Kimberley gourges, and any places i missed (im sure there are plenty).

Neighbor regions/States: Please add links here. This way members can quickly surf around.

Who is coming?
meettheworld Hi everybody, we are a nice and easygoing young couple(both 30) travelling around Australia since November 2006. We always like to meet new people and especially like to get to know the people that live in the countries we visit. Currently we are in Perth. After that we will go north along the coast to Darwin, later to the red center, We are going around the whole country and will also go to Cairns and then down the eastcoast to Sydney. We are looking for people to get together with, especially on the weekends. So it would be so lovely to e. g. be invited to your home or a nice chat, so that we could get some real Aussie experiences - not just the usual tourist thing. We love to visit National Parks and other places of interest. We like a lot of outdoor activities - bushwalking, observing wildlife, rockclimbing, sailing, scuba diving,... We love music and the movies. We are interested in your culture and way of living. That´s why we are here. It would be lovely if someone would get in touch with us! We are uncomplicated and fun to have around. So please contact us: 0420388564!!! Looking forward to meet you!

Want more guests! User = Godwinistravelling. I'm not at home for a long while, but im pretty sure my parents enjoy hosting people for me for the moment. Just buzz me if you want to be hosted in the future also. I will be back in July this year.

The river, beaches and parks are beautiful. Experiencing the wonderful outdoor lifestyle in Perth seems to appeal most to visitors. Great opportunities for bushwalking in the nearby hills. Wildlife. Spectacular wildflowers within a days drive August - September.
