Recife is known as the "Brazilian Venice", because of the rivers and bridges. We have the biggest carnival of the world:"O Galo da Madrugada"(according to the guiness book).
Olinda (10 min from Recife) is also famous because of the carnival, which is AWESOME!!! Recife is by the ocean, so we also have amazing beaches, and an famous island called "Fernando de Noronha" which is a real paradise...there are no words to describe.
We (Brazilians in general)are famous in the whole world beacuse of our hospitality, energy, and hapiness.
There are options for everyone: for those who love to party, or love to be in contact whith nature or love the cultural part...
Typical food and music.
