Introduction Attiki is a marvelous place to visit! The native land where the “birth” of ancient Athens’s miracle took place! The land that has “the best climate of the world”, according to the ancient writers! In our days, Attiki is the area that “guests” the vast complex based on the expansion of two main cities, Athens and Piraeus and, furthermore, the area of the highest urban development in the country, which has “transformed” former villages into new, modern towns... But, even today, the “miracle” still exists: you can always find great products, been produced in this “blessed by Gods” place, like excellent wine, and famous worldwide thyme-honey and, of course, you can always enjoy the sun and the sea on one of the many beaches spread all over the entire area, realizing by yourself the benefits of the famous Greek climate! But Attiki is also, as we said, the area of Athens and Piraeus: so, if you want to see Acropolis, ancient Athens’s ruins generally but also if you want to visit one of our fantastic islands, famous or not, then this is your area! In other words, everyone who visits Greece has to pass through Attiki... it’s worth doing it, believe me! But even if you don’t, come to see for yourself. Especially this summer, for one more reason. Because of the Olympics of 2004 that return, at last, to their birthplace! We would be happy to see all of you as quests, participating to this historical moment for us: as our motto says, “I will be there, too”, or else “Tha ime ke ego eki”!!! :-)
Top Things to See and Do Definitely you have to see Athens and all its worldwide famous antiquities, the famous from songs and movies Piraeus, which is the main port of Greece, the beautiful green islands of Saronic bay (Aegina, Poros, Spetses, Hydra, Agistri), the cape Sounio with the famous Poseidon’s temple standing above Aegean Sea, staring at the history of Greece through the ages... ...But also the wooded “Parnitha” mountain, the historical place of “Marathonas”, the beautiful coastal Athens’ suburbs, the beaches all around the Attiki area, and more, more, more...

There are many things to see and do in Athens as a visitor, during the day one can visit Parthenon and other archaeological sites, museums, the Olympic games venues, go to the beach for swimming or sports, make excursions around and much more, at night there are many options, too: go for a walk in Plaka (old town), dining out, clubs and bars, concerts, cinema, etc.
