Antwerp city:
Rubens House; Market square; Cathedral,
the very baroque Carolus Boromeus church with the relicts of John Nepomuk from Prague and the most interesting lace museum;
Saint Paulus church with the special garden, the master painters, the woodcrafts confession chairs and the wonderful treasure room;
Central Station; the Zoo, not just animals but also art;
Fashion museum and fashionable shops of the famous Antwerp designer;
Photo- & film museum; Diamondmuseum, Southquarter with fine galleries and bars;
the local microbrewery/pub/resto Het Pakhuis;Royal Museum of Fine arts of Antwerp;
The double Unesco protected Plantyn Moretus museum which reveals a lot of 16th century Antwerp history and book imprinting;
shopping at the Meir;
a walk by the riverside (in the future this will become more developped; the Sint Anna pedestrian tunnel in Art Deco that leads you to the left bankside and gives you nice skyline;
Left bank side with Sint Anna beach;camping; swimmingpool; minigolf; marina and a sunbathing grass field that gives you a surrealistic view on the petrochemical harbor;
the new marina at the Northern part with fancy boats $$ and marvelous exotic restaurants and bars;
check out the great nightlife and events

Mechelen: St-Rombouts Tower and church, Marketplace, IJzerenLaan; Maan Rock Music festival; the museum of De Wit, famous for it's tapisery and restoration of these; the Kazerne that houses now the Jewish deportation museum (free entrance, closed on Saturdays)

Lier:: the famous Zimmertower with the wonderclock (once at the world fair in Rockefeller centre in NYC and almost kept by the Americans);
The little Opsomer museum;
the marvelous works of blacksmith Van Boeckel, not known, yet won different international art prices and has his iron fences and balconies all over the world... till Washington's White House!;
the canals and the pubs;
the Saint Gumarus church with nice organ and the easy going atmosphere.

Antwerpen province is the northern one of the country and is bordered by the following belgian provinces: Vlaams-Brabant, Oost-Vlaanderen and Limburg

The province also border the following provinces of the Netherlands: Zeeland, Noord-Brabant and Limburg.
