If you love green tea then Kikugawa is the place for you!!!...if you don't then all I can offer is a hippy bar and a, more than not, empty Hip Hop club (which after a few dozen shots of sake could possibly be your best night out in Japan). My couch is located approximately an hour from Japan's natural landmark - Mt fuji. I live in a town of 50,000 just outside Kakegawa - which is a shinkansen stop. My town is famous for green tea and supplies a large portion of Japan's booming green tea industry. I am surrounded by both rice and green tea fields which results in quite a beautiful setting. My house is a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop which leads to the city's train station.I also have a car and am more than happy to drive you up into the tea fields, to the nearest beach or even to the closest pub (which happens to be 4 minutes walk away.
