Who is coming?
meettheworld Hi everybody, we are a nice and easygoing young couple(both 30) travelling around Australia since November 2006. We will land in Auckland on November 27th 2007 and then we will go from there. It would be great to have people who help us a bit with our start in the country. We will stay for a year. We always like to meet new people and especially like to get to know the people that live in the countries we visit. We are looking for people to get together with, especially on the weekends as well as for people to stay with. So it would be so lovely to e. g. be invited to your home or a nice chat, so that we could get some real New Zealand experiences - not just the usual tourist thing. We love to visit National Parks and other places of interest. We like a lot of outdoor activities - bushwalking, observing wildlife, rockclimbing, sailing, scuba diving,... We love music and the movies. We are interested in your culture and way of living. That´s why we are here. It would be lovely if someone would get in touch with us! We are uncomplicated and fun to have around. So please contact us! Looking forward to meet you!

Astrid and Chris from Austria are spending New Years Eve in Auckland. We would be very thankful for some tips and hints how to spend a great New Years Eve here and of course we are looking forward to meet a lot of HC members! Just contact me! jsarrett is moving to Auckland and staying for 1 year. I need a place to live (furnished) so if anyone knows of a place I would love to hear about it! Email me....looking foward to meeting some of you!

Want more guests! Add your user name here if you would like to receive more visitors - you should get more requests if listed here.

The Auckland Museum is about 10 mins mainly flat walk. The Parnell Rose Gardens about the same. The quaint Parnell Village including about 35 restaurants & Cafes is just 200 metres. The Auckland waterfront is a short bus ride - 10 mins on the Link Bus. The CBD is about the same.
