Introduction
The northeastern part of Singapore comprises of three Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs) – Aljunied, Pasir Ris-Punggol and Tampines GRCs and a Single Member Constituency (SMC) – Hougang SMC.
Aljunied GRC comprises of Aljunied-Hougang, Aljunied- Kembangan, Eunos, Kembangan-Punggol and Paya Lebar. Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC consists of Pasir Ris East, Pasir Ris West, Punggol Central, Punggol North and Punggol South. Tampines GRC is Changkat, Tampines Central, Tampines East, Tampines North, and Tampines West.
The North East Community Development Councils (NECDC) is headed by Mayor Zainul Abidin Rasheed.
The NECDC motto is: Bonding Heart and Home.
Without heart or soulware, even a palace is but a gilded cage and not a home where the heart resides.

1. Experience how the locals live by visiting the HDB heartlands and town centres.
2. Work those tastebuds by trying out a variety of local dishes at the many hawker centres/ food courts/ coffee shops.

The rest of the island consist of other Community Development Councils, namely Southwest, Northwest, Central Singapore and Southeast CDCs.
nisa2105 just realised that the area she lives in falls under the southeast cdc but since that geographical location doesn't exist under the singapore page, she will conveniently "attach" herself under this location as it's the closest cdc to hers. :)

Go on the G-Max reverse bungy ride at Clarke Quay, enjoy the view from the Carlsberg Tower at Sentosa. Must do is to walk through Boat Quay at night and just take in the sights/ lights of the city and make your way to the Merlion Statue at One Fullerton. Breathtaking view of the Esplanade Theatre across the harbour and the Merlion, against the backdrop of the majestic Fullerton Hotel and tall skyscrapers... and don't forget to sample the wide variety of food available and shop !!
