Introduction
Nuevo Leon is a very diverse state with a key position in Mexico. Monterrey, the State's capital, is considered to be mainly an industrial city but also has plenty of things to do and places to visit. The surrounding cities along with Monterrey are considered the metroplex (Garza Garcia, Santa Catarina, Guadalupe, Apodaca, Escobedo, etc).
There is always something for anyone willing to visit Nuevo Leon: wether you love big cities or you prefer small towns, you won´t feel dissapointed. Culture, adventure and extreme sports, ecotourism, hunting and fishing, parks, natural atractions and rural tourism, you will feel more than welcomed in this state plenty of life.

Faro del Comercio (Trade Beacon), Grand Plaza, Fountain of Life, State Capitol Building, Monterrey´s Cathedral, Cascada Cola de Caballo (Horsetail Falls), La Huasteca Canyon, El Potosi Peak, Caves of Garcia, Potrero Chico´s Canyon, Fundidora Park, Chipinque Ecological Park, Mountain Hiking, Rappel, Cave Exploration, Bungee Jumping, Kayaking and other acuatic sports, MARCO (Contemporary Art Museum of Monterrey), Museum of Mexican History and Santa Lucia River, Obispado(Bishop´s Museum), rural turism in the sorrounding towns and great nightlife on Barrio Antiguo(downtown).

Neighbor regions/States: North: Coahuila; south: San Luis Potosi and Tamaulipas; east: Tamaulipas; west: Coahuila, San Luis Potosi and Zacatecas.
