Introduction
Write an intro paragraph about this State/region. Why should members come? What can they expect, travel wise and Hospitality Club wise?

Top Things to See and Do

Troms is mostly known for it's nice nature.

Inner Troms is a nice hiking/skiing area, the most popular route goes from Kilpisjarvi (Finnish border) to Bjørnefjell (Swedish border, up from Narvik); typically one week by skis or two weeks by feet.

Senja and Kvaløya (southwest of Tromsø) is nice islands, with lots of fjords, beatiful mountains and even wonderful beaches - water is a bit cold, though. It's particularly recommended to visit Sommarøy/Hillesøy at Kvaløya, if passing by.

Tromsø, with 60k inhabitants, is the biggest town in all Northern Norway. It has an airport, a university and some museums, and is perhaps most well-known for it's pub-life - though with 0.4l of beer costing 50 NOK, you may want to skip that part.

Lyngen, a peninsula right east of Tromsø, has really wild nature, high mountains, landscape clearly carved by glaciers, dumping morains everywhere. It's a paradise for technical climbing, though most of the peaks are accessible just by feet.

Destinasjon Tromsø is a tourist burea with information about Tromsø and Lyngen.

Neighbor regions/States: Nordland is to the south, and Finnmark to the northeast. To the southeast, there is Finnish Lapland. To the far north, there are the Svalbard islands, which is international territority under Norwegian administration. The capital, Longyearbyen, is connected by flight to Tromsø.

Who is coming? Just add your user name and basic info (date and places you will visit) about your trip here, maybe other members will invite you or meet up with you on the road. Use your profile to tell more about your plans.

Want more guests! Add your user name here if you would like to receive more visitors - you should get more requests if listed here.

The nature, peolpe and lifestyle in Svalbard. If you are lucky (or unlucky) you might see a polar bear. To see a reindeer is not very uncommon. The northern lights in the winter and 24/7 sunshine from April to August!! Many people stay here longer than they initially planed:)
