Most loved by travelers are the extensive sunshine and the ocean's unlimited hues of blue. Choosing the best places to visit during a short vacation can be challenging. Greece is a modern European country with an incredible amount of diversity in the landscape and culture. There are many things to see and do in Athens as a visitor, during the day one can visit Parthenon and other archaeological sites, museums, the Olympic games venues, go to the beach for swimming or sports, make excursions around and much more, at night there are many options, too: go for a walk in Plaka (old town), dining out, clubs and bars, concerts, cinema, etc.
