Ghana is situated along the coast of West Africa. Agriculture and cattle rearing are the main subsistence activities of most Ghanaian families. Food crops such as cassava, coco, yams, plantains and maize are cultivated in the forest zones, while yams, maize (corn) and millet are grown on the savannas or grasslands.
Despite having many varied and diverse ethnic groups, Ghana has virtually no ethnic rivalries. Since their ancestors migrated to the region, people have lived together in relative harmony. Intermarriage between Ghanaians from different ethnic groups is also common.

VISA & OTHER TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
Visa to Ghana can be obtained at the Ghana Consular sections situated in each country. Invitation letters to visit Ghana can be arranged with the party concerned, upon the acceptance of the member interested visiting.
HOSPITALS AND HEALTH SERVICES:
There are many hospitals-both government and private all over the country, delivering quality health-care services to everybod, no matter the nationality.
Many hotels, ranging from guests houses to 5-star are available in the country. However, 5-star hotels are only available in the capital city, Accra.
Ghana has many tourism potentials. The Government, having identified tourism as the 3rd foreign exchange earner, after minerals and cocoa, has made a tremendous effort in establishing a reception facility of international quality, to add value to the numerous tourist products and systematically creating new ones. Ghana has both natural and artificial attraction centers. Not to be missed are:
Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle, national Parks with canopy walkway, game reserves, zoological gardens, bird and butterfly sactualries, reserach institutes, Ashanti King's Place, wonder stones, kentey weaving villages, monkey villages, etc.
I personally invite any interested party to visit with me these areas. If you need support letters for your visa, do not hesitate to contact me on: firstname.lastname@example.org
I am looking forward to visiting every city...village...etc...of the world, if possible.
I am a member of Ghana Environment Safety Agents, Ghana Peace, Social Justice and Reconciliation Team-a contact group of International Fellowship of Reconciliation, The netherlands.
