Introduction - Sri Lanka
The finest island of its size in all the world - Marco Polo
A wonderful thing about Sri Lanka is its size. It probably has the most
attractions that one could experience in such a handy small
geographical
bundle.
The sunny beaches, and palms are complemented by its varied fauna and
flora, varied climates and landscapes, the mystics of its history and
monuments of thousands of years, the smiles and warmth of its people,
and the dignity and simplicities of its culture. Nothing is more than a
few hours drive. You can snorkel and sunbathe in the morning, see some
of the historic sites that are part of the world heritage by day and
end up dressing in warm clothes for dinner in the cold climes of the
hills..

Be a Beach bum, experience
adventure travel, wild life, tropical rain forests, history and
monuments dating from over 3,000 years, the culture of an island nation
with a few thousand year history, shop for the world famouse gems (or

Luqman: Hi there Sri-Lanka, I am looking forward to travel down to the Sri-Lanka in the end of Feburary. I am expected to be there in the last week of Feburary and will like to meet the HC members there, including discovering Sri-Lanka e.g. Colombo, Kandy, Galle with them, finding out the interesting and wonderful destinations, to go out for food, music, cinema, morning and/or evening walks.
