Introduction
San Pedro is considered to be the high class place of mexico. You will find it interesting as a city but its not a tourist city. It has a lot of influences from the united states, even in its population due to the proximity of the country. I guess there is still a lot to see as a tourist in san pedro but you can easily go to monterrey too (20min drive) and monterrey has more tourist attractions.

Top Things to See and Do
The best malls in Nuevo Leon are here in San Pedro or at least some of the best, theres a nice walk you can do called paseo de los duendes or more formally known as calzada del valle, theres a science museum called planetario alfa, for nightlife theres this place called centrito del valle which along with barrio antiguo in monterrey are the main places where locals go.

Nearby cities/suburbs: Monterrey although considered a different city than San Pedro we locals consider it the same city being that is less than 15min drive, Saltillo is about 1 hour (100km)from here, Nuevo Laredo a border city is about 2 hours (250km)from here, Laredo is a city in the US is 2 hours (250km)from here, Mc Allen a city in the US is about 2 hours (250km)from here too, Mexico City the capital is about 10 hours to the south, Tampico a city bordering the golf of Mexico is about 3 hours or 4 hours from here.
