Introduction
Jaisalmer, ("The Golden City") is a town in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The town stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone, crowned by a fort, which contains the palace and several ornate Jain temples. Many of the houses and temples are finely sculptured. It lies in the heart of the Thar Desert. Location: Jaisalmer is situated in the western Rajasthan amid Thar Desert. Longitude: 69.3 to 72.2° East Latitude: 26.01 to 28.02° North Climate of Jaisalmer: Summer 42 °C to 25°C (April to mid July) Winter 24 °C to 7 °C (October to March mid) Best time to visit: October to March Nearest Railway Station: Jaisalmer Junction Nearest Airport: Jodhpur Jaisalmer is filled with many artistic structures and monuments of local historical importance. Jaisalmer's medieval mud fortress and walled township make it a popular tourist destination. The surrounding desolate landscape evidences a stark, austere beauty. Camel safaris through the nearby desert dunes are popular with tourists. A few quiet days spent wandering around the town and the surrounding desert can be a wonderful way of unwinding from the chaos of larger Indian cities. The city is easily accessible and people are warm and welcoming. In spite of harsh living conditions, Rajasthani people are known for their warm hospitality all over. So come to Jaisalmer and enjoy the traditional rhetoric of 'padharo mahare desh' (welcome to our lands).

Hospitality Club Meetings
Well I am thinking about something during my summer vacations when I will be at home to have some sort of gathering if people want to but I am not decided yet as I am not absolutely sure because it depends on my professor if he would let me go during my vacations or I will have to stay with him :)
