There is a rich history and tradition in Pittsburgh and its surroundings. There are many sites and historical homes to tour from pre-revolutionary times to the present, including homes of the old industrialists of steel, coal, and iron. Pittsburgh neighborhoods reflect this tradition and are fascinating to tour. There is an unparalled view of the city from the top of surrounding mountains. You can have a drink and look down on the lights and sights of the city. You can take a finicular up the sides of the mountain, one of the few in the U.S. Of course the Andy Warhol Museum attracts many travellers. In the surrounding countryside, you can visit everything from the Frank Lloyd Wright House to taking part in some of the best White Water Rafting, hiking, rock climging, camping in this country. There are charming bed and breakfasts dotted around the area.
