Kranj itself as an old industrial town is not much but it has some advantages: 10 km from national airport, an excellent starting point for exploring the country

Nearby cities/suburbs: Bled 20km, Ljubljana 25km, skiing 15km, nearest over-2000-mountain 9 km, nearest canyon - goes through town
