I am just wondering what you think may be the exchange benefit for your hosts
when you plan to arrive at around midnight and leave at 5 am each day. of course
they have the benefit of looking after your luggage!
In my experience 19 yr olds need their sleep and 5  hours a night for 30 - 45 
days consecutively is perhaps not great for you but also means you are in no
shape to work well should you get offers to. 
Maybe you should revise your plans a little.

Hello, all. I feel some deficiencies on this site.

I think a big renovation is necessary on the technical background of this site.
The site wasn't designed good, we can not find easily what we search. Because
the only colour in this site is BLUE. Advertisements and all of other things
were written in blue. There must be some contrasts, so we can notice easily.
There is even no NEW MESSAGE NOTIFICATION on this site. If you FEEL that you got
a new message, you check your message box and you see if you have a new
message.

There must be special pages to every city, and everybody has to be registered
automatically to his/her city's page. In such pages, there should be
announcements of organisations, meetings, and call for accommodations of the
people who visits the city. People would manage to send posts to his/her city's
page.

My name is Josy, I'm coming to the US, from August 1st to August 25th, with my 9
year-old-son and 27 year-old- daughter who has been an au pair in Mclean, VA for
the past year. Her year is ending end of july and my son and I are visitng her
to do her travel month all together.

What an irony that the commercial message in this panel is "Sexy young Filipino
women"... There are many thoughtful responses in this thread, reminders of what
the forum used to be full of...
Beware of generalizations, everyone! When I hear "the XYZ people are....", I'm
always wondering about the person who says it. Not ANYthing can be reduced to
such an all-encompassing judgment. But we experience that attitude everywhere,
unfortunately. Listening to TV news, reading the daily paper - it's outright
depressing. If only ONE DAY we would only think and say the positive experiences
of that day instead of all the negative stuff... But do you think it would be
newsworthy that today my yellow irises started blooming in the garden? Or that
the bush I planted last week finally decided to keep living in its new location?
Or that the baby across the street took its first steps? Or that my neighbor
actually bent down and pick trash off the street? You have to be alert and
recognize the positive things when they happen, and be grateful that they do.
Actually, within a club like this, there are many opportunities for those
positive things to happen! Every new visit has that potential, be it to a new
city or country or host.
                                 Wake up and smell the flowers!

Generally, the reaction  i get when i meet travelers who've been to my country,
is the exact opposite! They see Filipinos as fun loving people, always welcoming
to tourists.

Whatever your experiences were as regards your visit to the Philippines aren't
reflective of the real state of the Philippines. You are likely to encounter the
wrong kinds, wherever you travel, if you're on a trip for the wrong reasons.
