Who Can Volunteer?
We are looking for people with good hearts, with or without previous experience
and qualifications...including teachers, students, social workers, nurses,
doctors, medical students, childcare workers and caring people of any age. This
could be the start of the most amazing life-long adventure you could ever
imagine!

According to your abilities and desires we can place you as a volunteer for
working with orphans, street children, women's empowerment groups and also
assisting local midwives. We also have a program for sports volunteering with
the local football team! We try to be flexible and place you where your interest
lies, so even if you can't see it mentioned here, just ask!

You will receive a certificate of appreciation after your time as a volunteer,
which you can later use to verify that you have undergone training and
experience within this organisation, which not only provides professional
in-service training but also some preliminary language training and cultural
participation (drumming and dancing).

SEDARVP Ghana provides their volunteers with accommodation with host families
(including meals) and also makes available some cultural understanding and
orientation prior to commencement. We can also provide trained tour guides for
visits to many wonderful places of interest in Ghana.

The cost is a lot less than many other volunteer training organisations for the
simple reason that this work is so urgent and vital. Some doctors will not treat
the poorest women and children and many people die on their way to hospital,
including pregnant women and street children.

we are also working hand in hand together with other organizations and
individuals to end child labor , its so sad looking at kids below the age of 10
crossing cars and heavy vihicles to sell sachet water and other trades, . There
they are subject to the dangers of traffic as well as human cruelty, like rapes
and beatings.

Why not find out now how you can use your compassion and your professional
skills to benefit humanity and help put an end to extreme poverty? Once again I
say thank you to all our 2015 YOUTH EXCHANGE PARTNERS WHICH WE HOSTED HERE IN
GHANA SUCCESSFUL, OUR ROMANIA DELEGATION, TOGO DELEGATION AND THE DENMARK
DELEGATION, THANK YOU ALL, As you all saw the challenges facing us here, I know
u will help us spread the message out there.
