Hello!
I'm from Europe (Austria, Salzburg) and for me it's the first time to travel
around
in south-east asia. All in all I am 9 weeks on the road. (12th of Oct. - 12th of
Dec.)

Is there anybody who could show me around in Bangkok or in Chiang Mai?
In Bangkok I will be around the 12th and 17th of October and in Chiang Mai maby
around the end of October.

Afterwards I will travel to Vietnam, to Cambodia and back again to Thailand.

I hope I can meet someone just for a nice conversation or somone who could show
me around? Maby to your favorite places I have to see! I'm sure I should not
miss that!

Hello Caroline!

I'm from Vietnam but live in the USA now, so I'm sorry I can't meet you there
but I could give you some suggestions.  I went back to Ho Chi Minh City (or
Saigon) back in August and stayed at Ngan Ha Hotel.  It was a nice hotel and the
staff was very friendly and helpful.  Info: NGAN HA Hotel 190 Le Thanh Ton, Ben
Thanh Ward, District 1, phone 848-3-822-3283 or 848-3-829-2786.  It's like a
minute walking to Ben Thanh Market which is a wonderful place to shop for
souvenirs; it also offers a variety of food.  Be sure to check out the night
market right outside of BT Market as well which starts at around 6PM.  Food is
quite cheap and very easy to find around town.  I highly recommend this place
called Mandarin at 11A Ngo Van Nam, District 1 Saigon Ho Chi Minh City.  The
price is a bit higher but the food is excellent!

You can visit young city in vietnam :) Hochiminh city..with many places to
visit,relax..:) and when you r here,you can book trip tour from
Saigontourist.around city,country side...:)
