Did anyone found out how to remove your own profile from this site ??? please
help

How do I delete my profile?  I can't find a DELETE button anywhere!!!  Please
help

side  of main page .

How do I remove myself from the club? 
Please click on Update my address or email in your Main Menu and fill in the
form with your full name and the email address you used when signing up. In the
field for the reason of the update please write: -please delete my profile- and
it would also be nice if you could give us a short comment why you chose to
leave the club so we can solve problems with the site that might have caused you
to take this step. When we receive this data, we will delete your profile and
user account. BTW - if you are going traveling or cannot host anyone at the
moment, there is no reason to leave the club: you can simply set your
accommodation setting to "no, please don't ask" and tell in your profile that
you cannot host at the moment. Then, when you are ready again (even if it is a
couple years down the road), you can simply reactivate your profile. In short -
we'd hate to see you go...:-) Also, please do not leave the club to change your
user name and then sign up again, this would make our comment mechanism useless.

@coolnewyorker,
is your advice 'official' and then you can make it happen? Or, after following
your advice, do the potential leavers still have to wait for action of our oh,
soooo busy  volunteers?

The advice coolnewyorker gave comes from the HC faq and as such is the version
of signout where a volunteer needs to take action. For signouts the reaction
time is on average less then 2 weeks now. often less then a few days or even
just a few hours. 

Will give a look at the waiting address updates and signouts right now.
