Hello Everybody !

This year the Sziget Festival will be from 8th to 15th of AUGUST.

We can put our tents next to each other and make a "HC Camping". I think last
year it was very good.  I hope to meet all the people who came last year and
hope that this year there will be more HC members (specially from Hungary,
Hajrá Mogyorók !! )

We can make meeting(s) in the city also if you want. 

On the 0. day we will put the tents, and can reserve place for those who come
later. Just write me a message if you come with tent. 

We will find a "HC bar" where we can meet every day at the same time. So the new
ones will be able to find the others in the "HC bar and the camping". If
somebody (2-3 people) would like to help me to organize, I would be very glad.

Looks like many people will come again to THE event of the summer: the sziget
Festival!

I will go this year as well so Anton (or anyone), if I can help in any matter,

I'm living here in Budapest so I'll be in the place before, during and after :)

HAlli hallo, I hope, that in 1 - 2 weeks I will visite Budapest /van Gogh in
Museum of fine arts, short walking and /, and during SZIGET festival, too!! ,o)
I have never been there, only some friends of me... I m really curious, because
what i have experiences with, is POHODA festival in TRENCIN/SVK - this year on
20-21. july. SO, nice to meet all you theeeeere ,o))) Suzie

Last summer I was in sziget just one day for the concert of radiohead. It's such
a huge thing that one night is not enough is not enough to understand what's
going on over there!! So I hope I'll have the chance to go there again next
summer for the whole week (but without camping on the island). But this is a bit
hard to realize 'cos that period is when everybody goes on holyday in Italy, so
it could be hard for me to obtain days off work at my workplace as everybody
willl probably ask holydays for the same period.
Hope I could be there with all of you and all the other nice friends from
Budapest!!

I was some years ago in sziget. Jo. Yeah. ;oDDD
This year - I hope we go to. Because this year play Varttina on Sziget festival
and one week with other crazy dancing and smiling people must be GREAT.
WARNING for normal people - Varttina is powerful wonder worker. 

I wish I could come!!!!!!!!! I've never been to Sziget festival, but I'd like to
come...I'm afraid I'll have to work during the summer, as usually.

If Värttinä really plays on Sziget festival this year I have to see it.
Värttinä is Finnish/Karelian folk music, and as I am a Karelian girl I really
want to see the band on stage. :)

Varttina really will be on Sziget. 
On stage - 3 magic women/goddess singing and dancing only for as, mortal people.
6 players are like wind in the shadows, sometimes shy, sometimes storm.
Somewhere inside you feel power and belief. 
I hope, you will be there and maybe  - you see.

Hi all,

Can't really wait for the summer! I'll start my exchange studies next autumn in
Budapest and will be moving there a week before Sziget, hopefully I'll manage to
get a flat by then.. otherwise I'll live in a tent for the festival week!

I am excited that other people are also getting excited about Sziget this year! 
I wanted to go last year but didn't have a chance.  However, this year I really
want to go and am starting to make arrangements ... also to the HC camp after. 


So, are people bringing tents, etc.?  An HC area as suggested by Anton would be
a good idea.  I did some traveling last year and gave away my tent but I suppose
I can get a new one.  

I am looking forward to meeting some new people at Sziget and listening to some
great music.

Hey everybody!

As everyone I am happy to find this thread! I am a proud owner of a Sziget
ticket and am really looking forward to it. I'm going to hitchhike there with a
friend and we'll take our time to see several countries on the way :)
When I'm there I would really like to meet all HC peoples, but the thing is that
we will be staying in a hostel. I know it's not the way to spend time on a
festival, but it seems soo nice to have a bed and a shower for once :)
So please keep me updated with meetingnewz and I hope to see you there! Ow, just
in case, is it possible to get a campingticket for a week if you already pursued
a noncamping ticket? Greetzz
